The Railcar Type 2 X100 is made out of Railcar's 100th selvedge fabric used. This iconic milestone jacket is made of a Japanese 15 ounce medium/heavy, redline selvedge denim and was inspired by the original heritage design. This version has a few details to improve the jacket for today's modern styling. Hand pockets were added for comfort, huge interior shelled edge pockets for added storage to name a couple. Fit and quality finish is on point to exceed today's standards. The jackets are designed and manufactured in-house at the Railcar factory in El Monte, California, in small batches.

The fabric is redline Japanese dark indigo selvedge raw denim weighing in at a medium weight 15 ounces per square yard.

After performing an in-house shrink test on this fabric, the results were minimal shrinkage. Railcar recommends sizing to your normally bought size. Don't size up or down.
